Dear MOSAIC Families,
The Mehlville School District has been monitoring the weather system that is scheduled to impact the St. Louis area beginning this Saturday evening. Early forecasts continue to change on the severity of impact the weather may hold for the area, but we want to be prepared either way. It is possible the district schedules an AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) day on Monday, January 6th. This means instruction will take place virtually from 9am-11am. If we have an AMI day, there are a few things you can do to make the day more successful for you and your child.
-
Be sure your child’s Chromebook is charged.
-
Have a quiet work area for your child between the hours of 9am-11am
-
Parents and/or students who need technical assistance or support with their Chromebooks can email [email protected]. You can also contact me at [email protected] if you need any assistance.
-
Please review any emails you receive from your child’s teacher prior to Monday morning. Your child’s teacher will be sharing Google Meet codes and instructions for an AMI day.
Thank you and welcome back. We are looking forward to a great second semester with you and your family. Be safe this weekend if you have to go out in the weather.
Take care,
-Scott
