Dear MOSAIC Families,

Welcome to the final week of October. There are many things going on at MOSAIC and I know teachers, parents and students are all extremely busy. It is easy to often overlook the many positive things taking place in our lives when we are busy. I want to take time to celebrate our teachers and staff at MOSAIC. I have the opportunity to visit classrooms each day and see the learning activities taking place. Students are engaged in their learning and can speak to their successes and the goals they are working towards.

One celebration I would like to share is the 3rd grade studio teachers being recognized by KPLR Channel 11 as Outstanding Teachers last week. Below is the link to the news article.

Fall Party
MOSAIC students will have the opportunity to participate in three school-wide parties during the 2017-2018 school year. The students’ Fall party will take place on Wednesday, November 8th. The party will take place in the gym with multiple activities taking place for the students to enjoy. We will only have one grade level in the gym at a time. Winter and Spring party dates have not been determined at this time.  Below are the times each studio will participate in the Fall party.

Please remember to turn in your $10 for all three parties as soon as possible to the school office. You can contact the head room parents below for your child’s grade level if you would like to volunteer for the party.

We are now accepting applications for those who are interested in the Vice-President position. If interested, please create an abstract including your background and your experience with previous PTOs and why you would like to serve as PTO’s Vice President. You can send your abstract tosclark@mehlvilleschooldistrict.net by November 7th. Applicants will do a brief, five minutes or less presentation at our PTO meeting on Tuesday, November 14th.
